Requirements


High School Students

  • 3.00 academic grade point average (GPA) on 19 units of college-preparatory high school courses as outlined at lsu.edu/admissions
  • 1030 SAT (critical reading and math scores combined)/22 ACT composite
  • SAT critical reading score of 450 (ACT English subscore of 18)
  • SAT math score of 460 (ACT math subscore of 19)

Transfer Students

  • 30 or more transferable (academic, non-remedial) credit hours* from a regionally accredited college or university
  • 2.50 academic GPA on all transferable college work attempted
  • Credit earned in college-level math (above remedial)
  • Credit earned in college-level English (above remedial)
